AKI OMOSHAYBI

Aki is an award winning hyphenated creative - He started his career onstage as an actor/dancer starring in west end and broadway musicals then he moved onto plays working with companies such as The Royal Shakespeare company and the likes of Kneehigh.

He then migrated into tv and film starring tv shows like Dr Who, Defending The Guilty and films such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Riot Club, Kids In Love and Real. In 2019 he set up his own production company 'Small Long Productions" which he wrote, directed, starred and produced his first feature film "Real" through. Which had its world premiere at The BFI London Film Festival, it's also played at many film festivals worldwide collecting accolades.  It was nominated at the Bifa's for four awards ( Best screenplay, best actor, best debut director and the maverick award. It had a cinema release. He, then, sold it to sky movies and now is in negotiations with film4.

Aki also has a number of tv shows in development with Sky, Lionsgate and Eleven Films (sex education) another one with BBC studios and also at channel 4. He can currently be seen as Professor Gabriel Folukoya in the hit BBC series Silent Witness. 
 
Alongside performing he has also appeared in campaigns with Burberry, Georgio Amarni, Adidas Blue, Hackett and Manolo Blahnik
